Recorded over the course of two nights in 1974, just a few months after Phases and Stages was released, these early concerts by the newly-minted Willie Nelson Family Band were meant to capture the sound and feel of the burgeoning Outlaw Country scene in Austin, TX. Produced by Jerry Wexler, the album was scrapped at the time and was only released on CD in 1992 and in this complete form in 2006 on the The Complete Atlantic Sessions. The set captures a rising star twelve years in the making, whose fame and fortune lurked just around the corner.
This Record Store Day release marks its first time on vinyl.

Splendiferous is a new 2LP compilation, personally curated by Carlos Santana, showcasing highlights drawn from Santana's musical output spanning 2003-2019. It focuses on the too-often-underappreciated yet creatively fertile period following Santana's 1998 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the massive success of the 1999 album Supernatural. Formed in south London in 1979, The Sound were an English post-punk band fronted by singer-songwriter Adrian Borland. Whilst The Sound may never have matched the commercial success of their peers, the group are frequently hailed as one of the greatest bands of the 1980s and have a cult following to this day. Issued in 1986, Counting The Days was the sole compilation released during the band’s years together and gathers tracks from their acclaimed releases Shock Of Daylight, Heads And Hearts and In The Hothouse. Stiff Little Fingers BBC Live In Concer" features two high energy performances from these very influential Northern Irish punk rockers, recorded for the BBC. Fronted by singer/guitarist Jake Burns, the first LP of this 2LP set kicks off with "Roots, Radicals, Rockers & Reggae" from their Go For It album, recorded at London’s Paris Theatre in 1981, a venue used for many classic BBC Live In Concerts. The second LP features an equally raucous show captured at Norwich’s University of East Anglia in the UK in front of a highly appreciative crowd. Recorded a year after the Paris Theatre show, the 1982 set starts with "Tin Soldiers" and ends with "Gotta Getaway."

Donna Summer became the first artist signed to the new Geffen Records label in 1980, and her second album for the label was the 1982 classic Donna Summer, which saw her enter new territory, with production duties by Quincy Jones.

The album’s R&B/pop dynamic featured a Who’s Who of the industry, from the album’s lead single “Love Is In Control (Finger On The Trigger)”, to the All Star Chorus on the Jon and Vangelis-written “State Of Independence”, the beautiful “The Woman In Me”, the James Ingram vocal harmonies on “Mystery Of Love”, and the Bruce Springsteen-penned and performed “Protection”.

This newly mastered picture disc LP celebrates the album’s 40th Anniversary.

The legendary show was recorded in 1983 at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles and originally released as a single disc highlights album in 1984. This Complete Captured Live Record Store Day release features all fifteen songs performed that night, including fiery versions of “Equal Rights/Downpressor Man,” “African,” and “Get Up, Stand Up” on two colored vinyl LPs, the first solid yellow and blue, the second solid yellow, red, and orange. Available for the first time since 2002.

This show was recorded for the German TV series Rockpalast in Cannes in January 1986. Pete Townshend’s Deep End were touring in support of his solo concept album “White City: A Novel”. Several of the musicians that appeared on the album were featured in the line-up of the Deep End including Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour on lead guitar. The set list has tracks from the “White City” album, other Townshend solo tracks, Who classics, David Gilmour’s song “Blue Light” and a couple of surprises.

The Whole Darn Family emerged from Richmond, Virginia in the late 70’s and were managed, produced and promoted by August (Mr.Wiggles) Moon who ran an independent label called Soul International Records from a storefront in Richmond’s Southside District. “Seven Minutes of Funk” has become a cult favorite as it’s been sampled by Jay-Z, Wu-Tang Clan, Foxy Brown, Method Man, Biggie Smalls and countless other hip-hop artists. The LP is a gem to find for any top D.J., and a hunted collector’s item.
